Proceeds from “Hair Show” Will be Donated to Fund for Children Afflicted With Leukemia

ths1The manifestation “Hair Show” (THS) opened yesterday in Sarajevo, and as part of the segment “Grad Ljepote” (City of Beauty), visitors will be offered services at discounted prices by hairstylists, cosmeticians, manicurists and others.

At the plateau at the National Theatre there are 30 tents that will be open until 19 May from 10:00-22:00. With an entrance fee of 3 KM, visitors will be offered services such as haircutting, nail services, makeup, etc…

The tents were set up as cosmetic houses where they will offer services at discounted prices, and their experts will give advice.

The central event is “Hair Show”, which will be held tonight at 19:30 in the Bosnian Cultural Center, and will present 12 teams from countries throughout the world.

One of the organizers of the event is Senad Šehić, who says that the proceeds from the entrance tickets will be donated to the fund for children afflicted with leukemia, and the project is being realized in cooperation with the Association for Children who are afflicted with cancer in BiH. Last year, 20.500 KM was donated.

On Sunday at the Bosnian Cultural Center, there will be a seminar led be world-renowned hairstylist Patrick Cameron from Great Britain.

“Theatre Hair Show” is a cultural and educational manifestation that began with an initiative of Sarajevo hairstylists, which was founded by the Association “Artistic Hairdresser” Senad Šehić and Senada Čavdara and is modeled on the London “Alternative Hair Show”.
