Public Revenues In The Federation of BiH records Increase

Taxpayers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) paid 5.072.576.575 BAM in public revenues in the seven months (January-July) of this year, which is 475.124.390 BAM or 10.33 percent more compared to the same period in 2024, announced the Tax Administration of the FBiH.

In the structure of public revenues for seven months, personal income tax and outstanding revenues from individual income tax were collected in the amount of 523.480.100 BAM, corporate income tax and outstanding revenues from corporate income tax in the amount of 433.709.438 BAM, property, inheritance and gift tax in the amount of 35.126.917 BAM, tax on the transfer of real estate and rights in the amount of 57.138.508 BAM, and outstanding revenues from other taxes were collected in the amount of 241.754 BAM.

Pension and disability insurance contributions in the seven months of this year were collected in the amount of 1.967.604.896 BAM, health insurance contributions in the amount of 1.396.758.231 BAM, and unemployment insurance contributions in the amount of 162.646.171 BAM.

The Tax Administration of the FBiH carried out 3.916 inspection supervisions – rapid controls – in the January-July period. Compared to the same period last year, when 2.652 controls were carried out, the number of controls this year is greater by 1.264. In the rapid controls carried out in the seven months of this year, 120 facilities were discovered that did not have a permit to operate, while in the same period in 2024, 93 facilities were discovered.

Unregistered workers in the period January-July of this year numbered 691, while in the same period last year, 868 unregistered workers were discovered.

In the seven months of this year, 98 facilities were discovered that did not have a fiscal device installed, while in the same period last year, there were 89 facilities. Also, in the period January-July of this year, 1.069 fiscalization obligors were discovered who did not record turnover through a fiscal device, while in the same period last year, there were 702 fiscalization obligors.

Due to the established irregularities in the seven months of this year, 401 facilities were sealed, while in the same period in 2024, 247 facilities were sealed.

In 1.607 controls, misdemeanor orders were issued, while in the same period last year, misdemeanor orders were issued in 1.233 controls.

Based on issued misdemeanor orders in the January-July period of this year, fines were imposed in the amount of 4.213.070 BAM, while in the same period last year they amounted to 4.461.890 BAM.

The number of employees according to employees’ place of residence on July 31st of this year was 545.018. Compared to the published data on the number of employees on June 30th of this year, when it amounted to 547.055, the number of employees is lower by 2.037.

According to official records, activities in which there was a decrease in the number of employees include education, textile production, coal and lignite mining, plant and livestock production, hunting and related service activities, wholesale trade except motor vehicle and motorcycle trade, clothing production, and other activities.

Activities in which there was an increase in the number of employees include food and beverage preparation and service, retail trade except motor vehicle and motorcycle trade, land transport and pipeline transport, accommodation activities, computer programming, consultancy and related activities, and other activities, according to the Tax Administration of the FBiH.
