The best airline in the world, Qatar Airways, determined the date of the first flight on their route Doha-Sarajevo. The first flight from Doha to Sarajevo is planned on August 15, and the Airbus 320 will return to Doha the same day.
Although from Qatar Airways announced that Sarajevo will become part of their network by the end of 2017 or early 2018, it will happen a little bit earlier.
The first plane of the Qatar Airways will depart from Doha at 6:40 AM on August 15, and it will arrive in Sarajevo at 11:30 AM. The flight will last for 5 hours and 50 minutes. The plane will return to Doha on the same day at 12:30 PM, and it will land at 6:45 PM, i.e., 5 hours and 15 minutes later.
The plane will fly four times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The airline between Sarajevo and Doha will facilitate traveling to Qatar to a large number of citizens of BiH who live and work in this country. Besides the strengthening of business relations, the introduction of the flight Doha-Sarajevo will result in the development of tourism in our country as well.
