Ramadan Action of Ovako completed: 22 tons of Meat distributed

ovakoThe meat industry “Ovako” completed the 12th traditional Ramadan campaign, during which was distributed a total of 22 tons of meat and meat products…

This year’s donation covered 48 organizations through which the assistance will be further distributed to end users. Some of the organizations that received donations are Pomozi.ba, Merhamet, Dobrotvor, Emaus, Red Cross, Oaza, Ruhnama, Islamic Relief, Mjedenica, in Lasta, as well as many other humanitarian organizations that are working on the territory of BiH.

“We are returning our debt to society for the 12th consecutive year, because realistically if it was not for our loyal customers, today the meat industry Ovako would not be the largest food company in BiH. This is not the only way in which we are trying to pay our debt to the community, besides humanitarian work we are also active in sports, educational and cultural activities, but our primary goal is to help socially vulnerable citizens.

“I would use this opportunity to thank all of our employees who have helped in the preparation and implementation of the 12th Ramadan donation campaign, said Nedzad Biberovic, marketing manager in “Ovako”.
