vanja_lisacThe first solo exhibition of the photographer Vanja Lisac, titled “Rapsody” will open on 26 February at the Studio Figure at 19:00.

Photographs which will be exhibited are created during the two spontaneous socialization of the photographer with the singer Božo Vrećo. Božo will address the audience with his great voice and his excellent interpretation of sevdalinke.

“He was my inspiration for this exhibition. To me, he was very a interesting character since the first time we met. Through the professional make-up artist Maja Koristović-Talović we had the chance to get to know each other even better and we did a set of photos. It was a great combination of energy. I was satisfied with the photos, so I mentioned that we could open an exhibition. After that, Božo took everything over  and that is how this exhibition was created. He is a great person, inside/out, a real chameleon, that the public will have the opportunity to see through the exhibition, which is of a selling character”, announced the artist.

Vanja Lisac from Sarajevo or as many call her “The Master of photography” was born in 1978 in Sarajevo. She started dealing with photography since an early age and she has inherited her talent from her grandfather Ivica Lisca, one of the first professional and highly reputable Sarajevo photographers. She has taken photos of many influential world famous personalities: the Queen Sofia from Spain, Ricky Martin, professor Muhammad Younus, Nick Nolte, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Tilda Swinton, Gus Van Sant, Juergen Teller, and many regional famous personalities. Photographs of Vanja Lisac are published in many famous fashion magazines and global competitions in fashion portals.
