Record Number of Companies with Blocked Accounts in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has published updated data on the blocked accounts of business entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to which 94,692 accounts of business entities are blocked, while 51,613 companies have at least one account blocked.

Also in this monthly report on blocked accounts in the Bank’s Transaction Accounts Register, which contains 3,786 pages, as before, legal entities from various fields are listed, including companies, associations, cooperatives, healthcare organizations, entities engaged in service activities, sports organizations.

Last month or October 1st, 94,504 business entities’ accounts were blocked, while 51,516 companies had at least one account blocked.

In the first report of the Central Bank, published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH amounted to 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
