Record: Tourists overcrowded the Una-Sana Canton

USC Visitors krajina.baLocated in the northwestern part of B&H, the Una-Sana Canton stands out against the other cantons with its beauty. The center of the Una-Sana Canton is the city of Bihac, through which the emerald blue river flows.

It is a city that opens its arms to a large number of tourists every year, who leave this part of B&H satisfied and happy.

“According to statistical data collected by registered accommodation providers, from January to June 2015, the area of the Una-Sana Canton was visited by 5,505 tourists (3,305 domestic and 2,200 foreign), and a total of 8,604 overnight stays were recorded (5,027 domestic and 3,577 foreign tourists)“.

The average stay of tourists in the Canton is 1.5 days.

The number of domestic tourists, from January to June 2014, fell by 4.8 percent.

The number of foreign tourists, from January to June 2014, has increased by 27.17 percent.

The total number of tourists, from January to June 2014, has increased by 5.82 percent.

Overnight stays of domestic tourists, from January to June 2014, fell by 0.53 percent while overnight stays of foreign tourists increased by 17.74 percent.

The total number of overnight stays of all tourists, from January to June 2014, has increased by 6.33 percent.

Statistics are provided by the Tourist Board of the Una-Sana Canton.
