Recorded Moment when a Bullet most likely passes Trump (photo)

While the details of the shooting at former US President Donald Trump’s rally are being determined, the first photos have emerged that most likely show the bullet that grazed Trump.

Namely, while documenting a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, New York Times photographer Doug Mills photographed the moment when a bullet passed by the head of former President Donald Trump.

Michael Harrigan, a retired special agent of the FBI, stated in his assessment that it was indeed a bullet.

“It absolutely could show air movement from the projectile. The angle appears to be a little low and it went through his ear. Simple ballistics math showed it was possible to catch the bullet like Mills probably did in the photo,” he said.

The New York Times reported that Mills uses a Sony digital camera capable of capturing images at up to 30 frames per second.

“He took these photos at a shutter speed of 1/8,000 second, which is extremely fast by industry standards,” they explain.

Another factor that influenced this was the speed of the bullet from the firearm.

“If the attacker was firing an AR-15-style rifle with 5.56mm bullets and he was shooting at a shutter speed of 1/8,000 of a second, this would allow a photo of the bullet to be captured,” he stated.
