Red Weather Alarm has been activated for Areas in BiH

It is sunny in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, and it will continue during the day with high air temperatures.

Air temperatures measured at 8:00 a.m. (°C): Sokolac 14; Bjelašnica 16; Bugojno and Ivan Sedlo 18; Livno, Sanski Most and Sarajevo 19; Banja Luka 20; Tuzla, Zenica and Zvornik 21; Bihać 22; Trebinje 24; Mostar 27°C.

Today it will be mostly sunny and hot in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the afternoon, a few local showers are possible in the area of Herzegovina, west and southwest Bosnia.
The wind is weak to moderate, in Bosnia from the east and north-east, and in Herzegovina from the south. The highest daily air temperature is mostly between 33 and 39°C, in the south of the country up to 41°C.

Mostly sunny in Sarajevo. The highest daily air temperature is around 35°C.

The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) issued an orange warning due to high temperatures, and the Meteoalarm turned on red for the areas of Mostar, Banja Luka, Prijedor and Višegrad.
