Remains of at least four more Persons have been found near Mostar

In the continuation of the exhumation in the area of Medjine in Mostar, the remains of at least four more people have been found so far. The remains will be sent for further forensic processing and identification through DNA analysis in the premises of the city cemetery “Sutina” in Mostar, the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced today.

The exhumation at this site will continue in the coming days.

An investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is present at the location, who, under the supervision of the acting prosecutor, coordinates the work and activities of authorized officials participating in the exhumation process.

The International Commission for Missing Persons ICMP BiH, the necessary workers and machinery, as well as police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the HNK who secure the location, according to the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
