Renovated Amphitheater of Political Sciences Faculty in Sarajevo Opened

amfiteatarThe Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences of University of Sarajevo prof.dr. Šaćir Filandra, Rector of Sarajevo University prof.dr. Muharem Avdispahić, member of B&H Presidency Bakir Izetbegović, Director of Turkish International Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA) in B&H Zulkuf Oruc and Turkish Ambassador in B&H Ahmet Yildiz officially opened today the renovated amphitheater of faculty of political sciences in Sarajevo.

The amphitheater of Political Sciences Faculty is renovated with TIKA funds in accordance with the highest European and world standards and will be available to professors and students of the academic year 2013/2014.

The Dean of Faculty Šaćir Filandra addressed the audience at the opening ceremony of the amphitheater titled “Istanbul-Sarajevo”. He said that TIKA donated significant material resources for the improvement of education conditions for the students of this faculty in times of the world economic crisis.

The renovated amphitheater is done according to the highest European standards and has a capacity of 300 places.
