Representative of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Nebojsa Ivkovic, who is in charge of infrastructure projects, will be staying in the Football Association of BiH next week.

More precisely, Ivkovic will pay a visit to the city of Zenica in the period from March 12 to 14, as well as Sarajevo municipalities of Centar, Novi Grad and Novo Sarajevo. The aim of his visit is to find a suitable location for the construction of a new, modern stadium.

“Moreover, representatives of the aforementioned local communities will present their plans for the improvement of the infrastructure of stadiums in their local communities,” as announced from the Football Association of BiH.

They also expressed their readiness to provide their support to local communities and their stadiums within their financial abilities and availability of FIFA and UEFA funds, but noted that AF BiH is not relevant and cannot declare any stadium as the “national stadium”.
