Republika Srpska to insist on Military neutrality?

Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik says the Serb entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina “is not giving up on the position of military neutrality.”
In addition, Dodik announced that the National Assembly of RS will vote on this issue.
“A resolution on military neutrality is coming to the next National Assembly and we will state everything we think about it – preserving the constitutional order, the position of the RS, and military neutrality,” Dodik said, according to the entity’s public broadcaster RTRS, quoted by Tanjug on Tuesday.

He added that “the possible accession to NATO will be decided on by the people in a referendum – and no decision has been made about this, while all the stories of this kind are merely speculation.”

According to the president, when Nebojsa Radmanovic served as chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, he “signed a decision regarding the request for the initiation of procedures – but the Membership Action Plan does not mean membership in NATO.”

Dodik also stated that “a decision on joining NATO has not yet been made by anyone” – instead, “only the decision to enter the procedure has been made.”
