Roma Requested Break for Dzeko slobodna-bosna.baIn the coming days, the officials of the Italian AS Roma will try to convince the coach of the national football team of B&H Mehmed Bazdarevic to give up on Edin DZeko for the upcoming qualifying matches, reported the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (CDS).

Bazdarevic included Dzeko on the list of players on whom the coach counts for the matches against Wales (October 10th) and Cyprus (October 13th), which the BH national team will play within the qualifications for the European Championship in France in 2016.

On the other side, Roma wants Dzeko to stay in the capital of Italy, considering his injury which occurred recently.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the coach Bazdarevic already sent a letter to Roma in which, among other things, he stated:

“Edin is a very important player; giving up on such a player is not easy”.

As a reminder, Dzeko injured his knee during the match between Roma and Carpi, and he was substituted in half-time. Roma announced earlier that Dzeko will have to take a break for at least three to four weeks.
