Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak met with Ambassador of Romania to BiH Dana-Manuela Constantinescu on the priorities of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and on the current situation in BiH and the European integration process.

Constantinescu expressed the full support of Romania to European integration to BiH.

On the meeting, Ambassador presented the Romanian Presidency’s program to the EU Council “Cohesion, a common European value”, stressing that six months of Romanian presidency will be marked by extremely important events, Brexit, the European Parliament elections and Sibiu Summit.

Ambassador particularly stressed that EU enlargement to the Western Balkans would be one of the priorities of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of Europe, in addition to youth issues.

Crnadak confirmed his participation at the meeting of EU foreign ministers of the Western Balkans on February 1stin Bucharest.

At the meeting, interlocutors spoke about the Western Balkans Working Group meeting (COWEB) – The Committee of High-Level SEECP Officials to Organize Romania during the Presidency of the EU Council together with BiH, chairing the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP), in March in Sarajevo.
