The EUFOR mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina has published photos and videos of the arrival of reserve troops that should participate in the “Quick Response” exercise, which will be held on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina until September 16.
According to EUFOR’s statement, reserve forces from Austria, Romania and Hungary have arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Elements of the reserve forces become part of EUFOR to conduct Exercise Rapid Response, our annual exercise. During the exercise, the combined forces will demonstrate and assess their readiness and confirm their ability to support our partners in BiH in providing a secure environment throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.” , stated from EUFOR.
In addition, it was emphasized that the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide support to EUFOR by providing locations for this annual training.
The “Quick Response” exercise includes soldiers from 23 countries, who will be reinforced by KFOR units stationed in Kosovo.
“The ‘Quick Response’ exercise is one of the most important for all our forces and it is the main training event that has been held regularly since 2012. This year’s ‘Quick Response’ exercise is being held with the help of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which have made their facilities available to us. This year, the exercise will include all forces coming from 23 member countries, as well as from countries that will be temporarily reinforced from Austria, Hungary, Romania and the peacekeeping mission from Kosovo, KFOR,” Major General Laszlo Sticz said earlier.
