Ronaldo Reveals Who He Considers the Best Player

Time passes, and Cristiano Ronaldo is aware that some other players have stepped into his and Lionel Messi’s shoes. There is Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, but also Vinicius Junior, who is currently showing more than the mentioned duo.

It’s interesting to find out who the former best players in the world would point out as the best today, and that’s exactly what the Portuguese did in Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube podcast. Ronaldo did not choose anyone from the mentioned trio but singled out the young Spanish star.

“Neither Messi nor I could do what Lamine Yamal (17) does at his age. I see great potential and great talent in him. He will need luck as he is still very young. I hope he won’t have any problems. I believe he will be the best of his generation,” he said.

Seventeen-year-old Yamal is not currently competing for the Ballon d’Or because he is a minor, but the football scene is aware that his time is yet to come.
