RS Prime Minister and EBRD Representatives on Support of Projects in RS

The Prime Minister of the RS Željka Cvijanović spoke yesterday in Banja Luka with members of the Board Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the political and economic situation in this BiH entity on the occasion of the new EBRD strategies for BiH for the period 2013-2016.

They spoke of the current support of EBRD for projects in the public sector, including the activities carried out on construction of highways, as well as future engagements on infrastructure projects, as well as other areas in the framework of new strategies of EBRD that are being prepared.

Also, they exchanged information on the faster implementation of EBRD loans, and the future support of the private sector, then the planned economic reforms, continuation of the privatization process, and projects of improving the business environment.

The Ministers of Finance and Transport and Communications, Zora Tegeltija and Nedeljko Čubrilović, and the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Željko Kovačević also attended the meeting.
