Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov has offered assistance to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in putting out wildfires, including firefighting aircraft, TASS news agency has reported.
Puchkov has sent telegrams to Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina offering practical assistance in containing the natural disasters, TASS says.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry is ready to immediately dispatch modern firefighting equipment to the fire-hit areas of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Il-76 and Be-200 Chs aircraft, as well as experts and rescue teams with equipment to contain the fires and organise ground support for the aircraft, Puchkov said in his telegram, sent on Thursday.
