Sarajevo International Airport announced the introduction of a direct flight from Sarajevo to Paris, which will, starting from April 17th next year, be operated by Transavia France, a low-cost airline in the Air France-KLM group.

Two flights per week are planned, on Mondays and Fridays.

With this, Transavia introduces for the first time flights from the capital of France to Sarajevo, which is the result of the strategic expansion of that company’s network towards authentic and attractive European destinations.

The introduction of direct flights from Paris (Orly airport) opens new opportunities for tourism, business cooperation, and cultural exchange between France and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The route is an important step in connecting BiH with one of the most important European and world centers, the French capital.

After years of negotiations, the low-cost airline Transavia, for the first time, entered the market of BiH and improved the connection of Sarajevo with Paris, as announced by Sarajevo International Airport.

Tickets are available for purchase from today at a price starting from 69 euros one way through the official website: http://www.transavia.com. This price refers to the lowest available fare and may vary depending on the date of travel and availability.
