Sarajevo International Airport Sees Significant Passenger Growth in February

Sarajevo International Airport had 105,463 passengers in February, which is significantly more than in the same month of 2024, when there were 75,112.

The airport carried 1,074 operations and 284.6 tons of cargo, which is also significantly more than in the same month of 2024, when 191.2 tons were carried.

In the first two months, the airport carried 221,746 passengers, 2,249 operations and 526 tons of cargo.

Sarajevo International Airport set a record in 2024, serving as many as 1,821,762 passengers, which represents a growth of 34 percent compared to 2023.

During 2024, numerous lines from the list of strategic destinations were introduced, which significantly increased traffic and improved Sarajevo’s connectivity with European and global destinations.

During 2024, as many as 27 airlines connected Sarajevo with more than 30 destinations around the world via regular and charter flights.
