Sarajevo records new Cases of Coronavirus

In the past 24 hours, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton out of 709 people tested. Eleven people recovered from Covid-19 infection.

In the same period, there were no deaths from the consequences of infection with this virus.

Currently, 34 patients are in hospital, 21 of whom have an acute infection, while the rest are post covid or suspected.

At the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, 14 patients are being treated, and at the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakas ”20 of them.

One patient is on a respirator, and three patients use oxygen support to breathe above 15 liters per minute.

Today, Sarajevo Canton records 89 active cases of Covid-19 infection. There are currently 717 people in self-isolation.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 52,884 people infected with coronavirus and 51,507 cured have been registered in Sarajevo Canton.

According to the data of the Public Health Institute of CS in the past seven days the average number of infected is 10, while the weekly incidence, ie the number of patients per 100,000 inhabitants, is 19.
