After the analysis of 814 samples, collected in the period from November 22 to 25 this year, 333 newly infected persons with coronavirus were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton.

Of this number, 219 infected persons, or 65.76 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts of patients from before, and they are in self-isolation from before.

At the same time, 375 people recovered from the infectious disease Covid-19, which continued the positive trend of a higher number of recovering than the number of newly infected with this virus in CS.

A total of 375 people were hospitalized at the clinics and in the Isolation Clinic of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in Podhrastovi (293), and in the General Hospital (82), of which 11 use mechanical respiratory support during breathing.

In the past 24 hours, 21 patients were discharged from this hospital treatment.

Unfortunately, there have been seven deaths in treatment, five of which have been reported in the last 24 hours, while two have occurred before, so the death toll caused by the coronavirus has increased to 225 people.

Currently, 4,482 cases of coronavirus infection are active in the Sarajevo Canton. From January 30 to November 25 this year, a total of 18,762 persons infected with coronavirus were registered, of which 14,055 recovered from the infectious disease COVID-19. In the period from 12 to 26 November this year, based on the recommendations of epidemiologists, decisions of the inspection or the Ministry of Health of CS, 4,947 self-isolations were ordered
