Office for Social Welfare of the Riyasat of Islamic Community of B&H provided scholarships for this academic year and complete winter clothing, in cooperation with several associations and entrepreneurs, for the children of returnees to the territory of the Municipality of Rogatica.
A meeting with the students was held at the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Rogatica. Director of the Office for Social Welfare of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community of B&H Hamed Efendić and representatives of the Association “Svitanje” from Sarajevo and the Foundation “Muharem Berbić” from Kakanj paid a visit to the Majlis to meet with the students.
They jointly implemented the project “Školarci Rogatice” (School Kids of Rogatica), which included all Bosniak returnee children who are attending elementary and high school.
This project provided scholarships for this school year for eleven of them. Apart from that, food packages were also provided, as well as new clothing and footwear, warm winter jackets, pants and other necessities.
Office for Social Welfare of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community of B&H launched the project worth around ten thousand BAM, and it was implemented with the mediation of the Association “Svitanje”, while the partners in the project are Citizens’ Association “Akos” and Bor Bank.
