Ice skating SarajevoAfter two months of enjoying on the ice surface in the Olympic Hall Zetra, the season of ice skating was closed yesterday. Lovers of ice skating, especially the youngest ones, were skating at the ice during their winter holidays, and on Saturday, disco nights were organized.

From the Olympic hall Zetra was confirmed that they are satisfied with the season. Increased visit was recorded in January compared to February.

“The average visit in January was from 1.500 to 2.000 skaters, as from skating clubs as well as in regular terms. Because of the start of classes, the visit was reduced by 50% in February. Disco nights on Saturdays were also visited and it showed to be a good thing“, said Mirza Ramic, the director of Zetra. He also added that they are planning some novelties for the next season but it will solely depend on the financial abilities.

It is a common question whether the ice sheet will stay longer n Zetra and general stories about the ice in the Olympic Sarajevo. ZOI ’84 as a company can offer skating just for two months, and all other solely depend on the additional finances.

In the last year, ice was also present in March, but ZOI ’84 recorded losses. In this year, it was decided to close the season on 25th February and the administration of Zetra is satisfied with the business.

The owner of ZOI ’84 is the Government of Canton Sarajevo. This company has some proposals for improvement of business, but much will depend on yet unconstituated Government. The enthusiasm is there, so employees of Zetra wants to come closer to citizens and remind them that they can go bowling in Zetra, use the shooting range and small and big hall. They are also ready for the correction of prices in order to provide better service to citizens.
