The air quality index in Sarajevo on Friday morning was 386 and is classified as dangerous, so serious consequences are possible for the entire population, and any efforts should be avoided during the stay outside, was stated from the “Air.ecoaction” website.
The air quality index measured in Ilijas was 256, Visoko 222, Jajce 213 and Lukavac 202 and was characterized as very unhealthy, so that a person with respiratory diseases, such as asthma, may have a worsening condition.
In Prijedor with index 184, Zenica 179 and Tuzla 163, air is unhealthy, which is why pulmonary and cardiac patients, pregnant women, children and the elderly should reduce any physical activity outside.
The zero to 50 air quality index is good, 51 to 100 moderately polluted, 101 to 150 unhealthy for vulnerable populations, 151 to 200 unhealthy, 201 to 300 very unhealthy and over 300 dangerous to health.
