On December 21, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) conducted searches of residential and auxiliary buildings and movable property at six locations in the area of Sarajevo and Derventa.

Three persons were arrested due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they committed the criminal offenses of “Association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses” and “Computer fraud” prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The arrested persons were handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo after criminal processing and questioning as suspects.

During the search, IT and computer equipment and other items that could be used as evidence in criminal proceedings were discovered and temporarily confiscated.

The aforementioned activities were reported by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Srpska, SIPA announced.
