SIPA conducted Raid at the Premises of the Ministry of Defense of BiH

Members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), acting on the orders of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, searched computers at the premises of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to determine the content of files that could serve as a trace or evidence in related to the criminal offense referred to in Article 220 (3) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina “Abuse of Position or Authorization”.

During the raid, two optical media (CD) have been seized, with the identical contents of the files that were copied from the computer and the hard disk.

These activities are the result of an inquiry into the existence of the grounds for suspicion that, in the period from March 22nd, 2010, until October 22nd, 2010, without the approval of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, two decisions were passed and four annexes were signed on four contracts for the sale of weapons and ammunition, concluded between 2003 and 2004 between the entity ministries of defense and one company from Croatia.
