Officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today searched the premises in the State Penitentiary in Vojkovići, East Ilidža.

SIPA spokeswoman Jelena Miovčić told FENA that these activities have been completed and a report will be submitted to the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this regard.

In the interest of the investigation, she could not speak about the details and reasons for these activities at this time.

As the media reported, according to unofficial information, SIPA investigators searched several detention units in search of evidence due to suspicion that certain persons in the prison planned the assassination of the state prosecutor and a police officer.

The said persons allegedly targeted a prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office Dubravko Čapara and the police chief from Banja Luka.

According to media reports, the RS Police Director Siniša Kostrešević said that a plan for the assassination of the mentioned officials had been discovered in the actions of the currently unidentified group of detainees in the case related to the decryption of the ‘Sky’ application.
