Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić held separate meetings in Berlin with the Chair of the Bundestag Committee on European Union Affairs Anton Hofreiter and the Special Representative of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for the Western Balkans Manuel Sarrazin.

Speaker Zvizdić introduced the interlocutors to the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the intensification of fulfilling the fourteen priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission to accelerate the path towards European integration.

The interlocutors of the meetings agreed that, after obtaining the candidate status, Bosnia and Herzegovina must work rapidly on adopting specific legal regulations, strengthening the rule of law and the overall stability of the state and the region. They also expressed a firm position regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They also discussed the necessity of stronger economic development, which would give all citizens, especially young people, a clear perspective and prosperity.

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Germany, Jadranka Winbow attended the meetings, announced Zvizdić’s Cabinet.
