Increased Earnings of Civil Cervants Soon unsa.baPrime Minister of the Federation of B&H Fadil Novalić believes that the disputable amendments to the Law on Civil Service will improve the quality of work of civil servants and employees.

Speaking of the Draft Law on amendments to the Law on Civil Service in FB&H, which was on yesterday’s agenda of the Parliament of the FB&H, Novalic stated that there amendments will endanger the safety of positions in the civil service.

“We all know that if a position is guaranteed to someone, that someone does not have the affinities to improve his/her work. By introducing amendments to the Law on Civil Service this safety is being lost, which will eventually lead to increased productivity of civil servants”, the Prime Minister of the FB&H said.

Novalić pointed out that he believes 80 to 90 percent of civil servants are very competent and professional for the position they hold and that increasing their earnings was planned, given the good job they are doing.

Moreover, Novalić added that the criteria for the reception of new civil servants, which are to be in accordance with what the European Union requested in the Reform Agenda, will be defined in the coming 60 days.
