The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Dragan Covic, on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia, sent congratulations to the President of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandrokovic and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenkovic.

“On this behalf of the Croatian people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you, all citizens of the Republic of Croatia, Croatians, on Statehood Day,” a memorial to the constitution of the first democratically elected multi-party Parliament of the Republic of Croatia, Avaz news portal reports.

With courageous moves of the political leadership and the struggle to preserve its statehood, this day is one of the most significant milestones in recent Croatian history, leading the Republic of Croatia to independence, sovereignty and international recognition, and the Croatian people to European civilization, political, cultural and economic tradition – said Covic.
