The Stage Musical Performance “Century Of Peace After Centuries Of Wars” Held on the Latin Bridge

NA LATINSKOJ ĆUPRIJI IZVEDEN MUZIČKO-SCENSKI PERFORMANS "STOLJEĆE MIRA NAKON STOLJEĆA RATOVA"Tonight just before midnight, in the presence of many citizens, a musical and theatrical performance “A Century of peace after centuries of wars,” was held on the Latin bridge. The performance was prepared as part of an all-day program marking the centenary of the beginning of the First World War and the Sarajevo assassination.

The performance was carried out by more than 300 participants from 12 countries, namely from Serbia, Croatia, France, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Romania, Moldova, Slovenia, Great Britain and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Most of them are artists, musicians, singers, actors and dancers. Also, elementary school pupils took participation as well. In addition, apart from prominent names from this milieu, performers and young artists also showed their talents.

The director of this performance, Haris Pašović, previously said that this is a multi-disciplinary spectacle, which includes an integrated dance, drama, music, singing, choral singing and video.

 

Among many performers who took participation, there were Dino Merlin, Šaban Šaulić, Eldin Huseinbegović, choir of Opera of National Theater Sarajevo, Kubanjski kozački choir from the town of Krasnodar in Russia, opera singer Nicolas Simea from Paris, Cambi from Kaštela, ballet of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, dance center Tala in Zagreb, and flute quartet from Sarajevo.

The following players took participation in the spectacle: Alma Prica, Selma Ergeč (Ergec), Aisa Maiga, Uroš Mladenović, Vladimir Maksimović, Aleksandra Pejić, Kristina Jevtović, Una Đelosavljević, Rijad Gvozden, Aleksandra Belošević, Nikolina Spasić, Davor Golubović, Uglješa Spasojević, Milan Novaković and Tatjana Mateša.

The production was done by the East West Center, while the project was financed by the European Union.
