Students in blockade announced the locations of yesterday’s protests in cities across Serbia, which were held under the slogan “Serbia cannot calm down.”

Protests in Belgrade began at 8 p.m. at Avijaticarski Square in Zemun, as well as at the roundabout near the Municipality of New Belgrade, the students stated on Instagram.

“In case of breaking up the protest, do not go into narrow streets. Gathering places in case of dispersal will be the intersection of Mihajlo Pupin Boulevard and John Kennedy, as well as the intersection of Mihajlo Pupin Boulevard and Marshal Tolbukhin Boulevard,” they announced yesterday.

At 5 p.m., a protest was held in front of the court in Pancevo, while protests beginning at 7 p.m. were also held in Valjevo near the Gymnasium, in Vranje near the Municipality, and in Knic, where the location was not specified.

There were also protests starting at 8 p.m. at Knez Square in Gornji Milanovac, at the City Square in Leskovac, and Freedom Square in Indjija, while the locations of protests beginning at the same time were not specified for Cacak and Pozarevac.

Students had earlier appealed to citizens that, for personal protection, they should not come to the protest without basic equipment – goggles and something to cover their mouths in case of tear gas.

“In addition, bring helmets just in case – they do not get in the way while being worn, and they can be of great use.”
