Works on the construction of steam line have officially started in the detergent factory Dita Tuzla, confirmed the President of this company’s Union Dzevad Mehmedovic.

This renown detergent factory from Tuzla has signed an agreement for the reconstruction of the steam line with the Thermal Power Plant on Friday. The reconstruction of the steam line will enable the production of powder detergents “Arix” and “Ida”, for which this Tuzla company was formerly known for in the region.

“Works have officially started this morning, and the contractor on the steam line is the company Remot Montaza; the steel plates, sliders and mounts for Dita’s steam line are currently being prepared”, Mehmedovic said.

Mehmedovic stated that the funds for the steam line will be borrowed from Elektroprivreda, and Dita will repay in installments. Moreover, he stated that the powder detergents “Arix” and “Ida” will also be produced for foreign markets.

“I have been saying since the beginning that this factory can operate. We do not need patriotism for a month – people need to completely opt for domestic production”, Mehmedovic stated.
