b_160914024Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda and the Ambassador of the Netherlands to BiH Jurriaan Kraak today officially launched the three-year-long technical cooperation that will enable education of officials, consultant and study visits, seminars, and exchange of documentation between ministries of finance of the two countries.

This form of all-round cooperation was enabled after the signing of the Memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation for the period 2016-2019 between ministries of finance of BiH and the Netherlands.

Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Vjekoslav Bevanda expressed hope that the cooperation of the two ministries will yield good results and that civil servants will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience with minimum costs.

The memorandum defined the framework of mutual cooperation of the two ministries, with special emphasis on technical and financial segment, which should inter alia further strengthen the capacities of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
