The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will allocate approximately 200,000 BAM for the purchase of two new cars.

The tender for the implementation of this offer is worth 170,940 BAM without VAT or approximately 200,000 BAM, which means that an average of 100,000 BAM will be spent on the purchase of one vehicle.

The tender calls for two new vehicles produced this year, black metallic in color, with a turbo diesel engine with a driving power of at least 140 KW, automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Among the equipment, the cars must have, among other things, a front and rear parking camera, a sensor for recognizing traffic signs, a multi-colored digital instrument panel with different profile settings, side airbags and airbags for the driver’s knees.

Interested bidders should ensure a grant period of 48 months or 120,000 kilometers traveled or the one guaranteed by the vehicle manufacturer.

Also, they must prove that their transaction account has not been blocked in the last six months, writes Capital.

“The bidder must be a manufacturer, general representative or authorized distributor for the offered vehicles”, it is specified in the tender documentation, with the note that they must have a vehicle servicing service in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The deadline for submitting offers is November 5, and the criterion for awarding the contract is the lowest price. Delivery deadline 30 days from the signing of the contract by both parties.

The procurement of these cars was subsequently included in the public procurement plan of the BiH Presidency, the day after the local elections in BiH.

Last year, the BiH Presidency spent almost half a million BAM on two new vehicles for BiH Presidency members Željka Cvijanović and Željko Komšić.

As the portal Valter wrote at the time, the 318,000 BAM limousine went to Željka Cvijanović, while Komšić settled for a more modest, 164,000 BAM expensive SUV.
