On November 18 of this year, the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton received a report about an incident in a private facility in Gračanica, in which minors were named as the culprits.

The police and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office in Tuzla immediately launched investigations, which so far have shown the most important thing – that there was no rape of the boy, Klix.ba learns.

“Regarding the reported event in Gračanica, in which four children participated, a medical examination determined that there were no injuries on the child or rape. It is classic peer violence,” Admir Arnautović, spokesman for the Prosecutor’s Office of the TC, told Klix.ba.

By order of the prosecutor, the competent department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton continues to conduct numerous investigations in order to determine all the circumstances related to the event.

“All actors will be additionally questioned, and if it is determined that there were elements of a criminal act, only one child who is 14 years old and who is criminally responsible will be initiated, while the other two children, who have under the age of 14, take other legal actions, including activities undertaken by the competent social welfare authority,” added Arnautović for Klix.ba.

After all the checks, the police will submit a report to the prosecutor’s office, and then the prosecutor’s office will take further necessary actions.
