The company Lidl started building the first facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is located in the area of Bijeljina. On the other hand, locations for the construction of facilities in Živinice have not yet been found, it was confirmed for Klix.ba.
With the aim of establishing business in our market, the German company registered a company in Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the name Lidl BH d.o.o., at the beginning of last year, after which there were rumors about opening at least six branches.
To date, none of them have been opened, but BiH. Lidl started investing in Bijeljina. Namely, in that city, more precisely at the location in the immediate vicinity of the new bus station, the Tuzla company Tehnograd started the construction of the facility.
The project of building a business building with accompanying buildings is fully financed by the company Lidl BH d.o.o., Routing from Banja Luka is signed as the designer, while MDC from Sarajevo is in charge of supervision.
The works were made possible on the basis of the building permit issued by the City Administration of Bijeljina, and the complete realization of the project, as it was unofficially confirmed for Klix.ba, could be expected by the end of next year.
On the other hand, after Sarajevo, Lidl had the best chance of opening the first branches in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of Živinice. However, things have changed, and according to information confirmed to Klix.ba, this German company still has not found potential locations in Živinice.
The formal founder of Lidl BH is W E-International Zweite GmbH. As the director of BH Allen Halamić is listed as the head of the company’s branch. In addition to him, the company’s management includes executive directors Roland Thomas Schreiber, Mihajl Đotlo, Dean Sunek and Kristijan Zaec.
