By the end of this week or the beginning of next week, the Government of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) will officially sign a contract directly with the organizers of the international entrepreneurship fair EXPO 2020 Dubai, which will take over the pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which is already opened, and the organization of all activities during the fair, which lasts for the next six months now.

The President of the Organizing Committee of EXPO 2020 Dubai and the Minister of Economy Adnan Delic reminded at yesterday’s press conference that the delegation of the CS Government spent a few days in Dubai with the aim of harmonizing certain details from the contract that should be signed soon.

By the end of this week or the beginning of next week, the CS government should sign a contract directly with the organizer, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, ‘Dubai Expo 2020 Dubai’. The government of CS will do according to the negotiation procedure which will enable us to sign an agreement directly with the organizer of this world exhibition, ” Delic noted.

What is important is that the BiH pavilion as part of the exhibition in Dubai is currently open.

“They (EXPO) have hired volunteers who are currently working on our pavilion and take care of all visitors until we sign the contract and take over the pavilion and the organization of the entire program and all activities in the next six months,” told Delic and added:

“We would like to emphasize that we do not take responsibility in the context of the performance of the state of BiH. We have taken responsibility in the context of paying the costs of organizing the departure of certain economic entities that are interested in presenting their potential at the exhibition.”

Minister explained that there is a huge interest of BiH companies to participate in the fair in Dubai, but again pointed out that, when the official agreement is signed, clear steps will be shown in which those who want will be able to present their potential, Federalna writes.
