The Association “Heart for Children with Cancer”, with the co-organizers, the City of Visoko and the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of the University of Visoko, and on the initiative of Visoko’s Afan Habibović, who overcame a brain tumor, held a “Golden Circle” race/walk in Visoko today “.
The run/walk was held on the occasion of Golden September – International Children’s Cancer Awareness Month, and its aim was to raise awareness of cancer in children, but also to raise funds for children with cancer through the sale of t-shirts for participation in the race.
The event was of a humanitarian nature, supported by numerous athletes, celebrities, business and public entities, and citizens who came with one goal, which is to support children with cancer and their families.
“Most importantly, we all together sent a strong message to our little ones, which is that they are not alone. That we are there with them all the way to the goal, which is their recovery. That we are ready to stand with them in the biggest race, the race for life,” announced the Heart for Children Association.
