The Government of Japan has donated 147,092 BAM for the purchase of new training equipment and tatami mats for the hall of the Judo Club “Borsa” in Mostar.
The handover ceremony was attended by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina Omori Yuichiro, the President of the Judo Club “Borsa” Franjo Zadro and the Vice President of the club Tomislav Vučić, the Embassy of Japan in BiH announced.
The donation represents an important step in the reconstruction of the club’s facility, which was seriously damaged in a fire, and the funds will enable the modernization of the equipment and the continuation of the club’s progress.
The Embassy of Japan emphasized that the reconstruction of the infrastructure of the Judo Club “Borsa” is crucial for its further development and contribution to the popularization of judo, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.
