The Government of the FBiH allocates Funds for 80 Workers

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted on Thursday, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, two decisions on the selection of beneficiaries of part of the funds provided for in the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2026 in the total amount of 828,748.50 BAM for the settlement of the debts of economic companies for unpaid contributions for PIO/MIO for a total of 80 workers of public and private companies.

A total of 504,322.55 BAM was approved by the decision on the selection of the beneficiary of part of the funds determined by the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2026 from current transfers and other current expenditures – subsidies to public companies for the settlement of the debts of economic companies for unpaid contributions for PIO/MIO for 34 workers who have acquired the conditions to go to the miorvina, and who have no work experience.

These are workers of IP Krivaja d.o.o. Zavidovići in bankruptcy (13 workers), Željezara Zenica d.o.o. Zenica in bankruptcy (two workers), BNT – factory of machines and hydraulics d.o.o. Novi Travnik (four employees), Confectionery Borac d.d. Travnik (10 workers), Hidrogradnja d.d. Sarajevo in bankruptcy (five workers).

A total of 324,425.95 BAM was approved by the decision on the selection of the beneficiaries of the funds determined by the Budget of the Federation of BiH for 2026 from current transfers and other current expenditures – subsidies to private companies and entrepreneurs for the settlement of debts for unpaid contributions based on PIO/MIO for the retirement of 46 workers who have reached the conditions for retirement, but have not been paid for their seniority.

These are workers of Aluminij d.d. Mostar (three employees), Krivaja Mobel d.o.o. Zavidovići in bankruptcy (11 employees), Fortuna d.d. – Gračanica in bankruptcy (six employees), Koksara d.o.o. Lukavac in bankruptcy (26 employees), the Office of the Government of the Federation of BiH for Public Relations announced.

The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry will conclude an agreement on the allocation of grant funds with the user of the grant funds, with defined rights and obligations of the contracting parties, and the economic company, after the conclusion of the contract with the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, and in accordance with the submitted lists of employees who have acquired the conditions and exercised the right to retire, the funds will be paid into the account of the Federal PIO/MIO Institute.

The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is responsible for transferring the paid contributions from the ID number of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry to the ID number of economic companies within its competences. The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Federal Institute of PIO/MIO and the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are responsible for the implementation of this decision, each within their own jurisdiction.
