The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has made a decision to mitigate the measures introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic. The proposal of the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health was accepted and the duration of the movement restriction was shortened, which will last from 11 pm to 5 am from tonight.

Gatherings of up to 30 people in open-air catering facilities were also approved.

Also, betting houses, fitness centers, gyms, spas, and public swimming pools are allowed to operate, while respecting hygienic and epidemiological measures.

Facilities for gambling and betting activities are allowed to operate, with working hours until 8 p.m., while respecting all hygienic and epidemiological measures.

Also, the work of fitness centers and gyms is allowed, estimating that each person needs 7 m², with no more than 20 people in them;

The work of wellness and spa centers is allowed, estimating that each person needs 7 m², also with no more than 20 people in them. The work of public swimming pools is allowed while respecting all hygienic and epidemiological measures.

With this conclusion, the Government has further mitigated the previously determined hygienic and epidemiological measures, since there has been a significant reduction in the number of people infected with coronavirus in the CS during recent days, as the CS Government announced.

As it was stated, the CS Government and the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of the CS will closely monitor the development of the epidemiological situation, and in accordance with that make all future changes to the plan for returning students to school.

In the past 24 hours, 23 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton. In the same period, 58 people recovered from Covid-19 infection.

Of the mentioned number of newly infected, 15 of them, ie 65.22 percent, belong to family clusters or contacts with previously infected persons, which is why they are in self-isolation from before.

Unfortunately, one patient who was infected with this virus passed away yesterday. 366 people were tested for coronavirus last day. Today, Sarajevo Canton records 702 active cases of COVID-19 infection. There are currently 3,378 of our fellow citizens in self-isolation.
