The Israeli army in the north of the country has been put on high alert ahead of a speech by Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari has spoken out saying that the Israeli army is ready.

“We will be ready to respond on any front if necessary. In the north, we are ready and will continue to respond to any attack, today and in the coming days,” said Hagari.

Adir fighter jets (F35-I) are also on standby.

“Iran is encouraging its allies against Israel, we will respond on any front to any threats. There is a high alert, also in the north,” Hagari pointed out.

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, is due to address his followers today in what will be his first public comments since the war between Israel and Hamas broke out.

The speech is likely to indicate the group’s next moves, as its fighters and the Israeli army are engaged in intense attacks on the Lebanese-Israeli border, KLix.ba reports.
