The most powerful Countries in the World have taken a Stand about BiH

During a two-day meeting in Germany, the foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) touched on, among other things, the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

As they said in the conclusions after the meeting, they are worried about the deepening political crisis in BiH.

”We condemn any attempt to undermine the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the country. We will not tolerate the secessionist policy of Republika Srpska (RS), which threatens the future of BiH and stability in the region,” the G7 leaders stated.

They called for the return to the full functionality of governments at all levels to continue to work fully, leaving aside rhetoric that provokes divisions and arsons and avoiding any action that could destabilize BiH.

”We call on all parties in the country to ensure general elections are held as scheduled for October. We fully support the mandate of the High Representative Christian Schmidt. We fully support the executive mandate of Operation EUFOR Althea to maintain a secure and stable environment in the country,” the G7 leaders added.

The G7 members are Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States (U.S.), Klix.ba writes.
