The number of people killed in Israeli air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 14,532, including more than 6,000 children and 4,000 women, the Gaza government’s Media Office said on Wednesday.

“The number of deaths among medical personnel has increased to 205, including doctors, nurses and paramedics,” the statement said.

Among those killed were 25 members of civil protection teams and 64 journalists.

It is estimated that the number of wounded is more than 35,000, and more than 75 percent of them are children and women.

“At least 7,000 people have been missing in the Gaza Strip since October 7, either under the rubble, or their bodies are lying in the streets, or their fate is unknown,” the statement said.

The number of destroyed state buildings is 102, and 266 schools, of which 67 no longer work.

As many as 85 mosques were completely destroyed, and 174 were damaged. Three churches were also targeted.

As for residential units, 45,000 houses were completely destroyed, while 233,000 were partially destroyed.

At least 26 hospitals and 55 health centers are out of order.

Israeli forces targeted 56 ambulances, while many others stopped working due to fuel shortages.

Markets and commercial shops are suffering from a shortage of staple foods and various food items, while bakeries have completely stopped working.
