The exhumation that started yesterday morning in the Sarajevo suburb of Stup, in the immediate vicinity of the Stup bypass, has been completed, and the remains of at least four people were exhumed.

“According to the pathologist who attended the exhumation, incomplete remains of at least three people and complete remains of one person were found,” a spokeswoman for the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH Emza Fazlic told FENA.

She added that, according to the forensic doctor who attended the exhumation, the remains are most likely of older origin that do not fall under the mandate of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons.

The exhumed remains will be transferred to the prosecution of the St. Mark cemetery in Miljevici, where their processing and examination of their origin will follow.
