A White House official disclosed to the American media the full text of the 14-point memorandum of understanding with Iran.

The American version of the memorandum, which was signed electronically on June 15, and formally should be done on Friday, June 19 in Switzerland, differs slightly from the text that was leaked to the media earlier.

The first point states that the US, Iran and their allies declare an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, and undertake not to launch a war or military operation against each other.

Respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the USA, Iran and Lebanon, as well as non-interference in internal affairs, is foreseen, and Washington and Tehran undertake to reach a final agreement within 60 days, which can be extended with mutual consent.

The US commits to begin lifting its naval blockade of Iran immediately upon signing, which should be completed within 30 days. Ship traffic will be established in proportion to the pre-war traffic restored by Iran.

At the same time, the US should withdraw its armed forces within 30 days of reaching a final agreement.

Iran undertakes to take measures to allow the safe passage of commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz, free of charge, for 60 days.

After that, Iran should hold a dialogue with Oman on the establishment of future administration and maritime services in the Strait of Hormuz. In the same provision, it is said that this new arrangement should take into account other Gulf countries and international law.

The implications of this provision are that there is a possibility that Iran will start charging for passage through the strait, reports RT Balkan.

Traffic through Hormuz should begin immediately, and fully established in 30 days, due to the need to remove technical and military obstacles and demining the passage to be carried out by Iran.

Washington commits to develop a plan with regional partners with at least 300 billion US dollars for the reconstruction and economic development of Iran, but there is no mention that these funds will come from the United States.

It is said that the mechanisms for this plan will be part of the final agreement, and that Washington will issue all the necessary permits and licenses.

The US is committed to lifting all sanctions against Iran, including those passed by the UN Security Council, as part of the final deal.

With this memorandum, Iran reaffirms that it will not acquire or develop nuclear weapons, and the issue of enriched uranium stocks will be regulated by a mechanism that will be mutually agreed upon.

Until the final agreement, the US and Iran agree to maintain the status quo, which means that Iran will not change the status of its nuclear program, and Washington will not introduce new sanctions or deploy additional forces in the region.

Immediately upon signing, and until the sanctions are lifted, the US will issue exemptions for the export of Iranian crude oil, petroleum products and derivatives, as well as for all related services, including banking transactions, insurance, transportation and more.

Frozen or restricted Iranian funds will be fully made available to Tehran according to the agreed procedure during the negotiations.

The US and Iran will establish a mechanism to monitor the implementation of the memorandum and the future final agreement, which will be approved by a binding resolution of the UN Security Council
