Total seasonally adjusted industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2019, compared to December 2018, is decreased by 2.2%.
In January 2019, compared to January 2018, industrial production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the calender adjusted, is decreased by 7.5%.
In January 2019, compared to December 2018, production of Capital goods increased by 12.1%, production of Consumer non- durables increased by 0.8%, while production of Consumer durables decreased by 1.8%, production of Intermediate goods decreased by 4.2%, and production of Energy decreased by 6.3%.
Compared to January 2018, in January 2019, the production of Consumer durables increased by 14.5%, production of Capital goods increased by 5.5%, while production of Consumer non- durables decreased by 4.2%, production of Energy decreased by 6.5%, and production of Intermediate goods decreased by 16.1%.
In January 2019, compared to January 2018, calendar adjusted industrial production decreased in section Manufacturing by 5.7%, in section Electricity and gas supply decreased by 6.4%, and in section Mining and quarrying decreased by 14.5%.
Broken down by divisions of activities (rates are calculated from seasonally adjusted indices) in January 2019 compared to December 2018, the highest growth is recorded in division 26 – Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (38.5%) and division 13 – Manufacture of textiles (30.8%). The largest decline in industrial production in January 2019 compared to December of 2018 was recorded in division 19 – Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (63.2%) and division 30 – Manufacture of other transport equipment (45.0%), was stated by BiH Agency for Statistics.

Broken down by divisions of activities (rates are calculated from calendar adjusted indices) in January 2019 compared to January 2018, the highest growth is recorded in division 26 – Manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (99.7%) and division 12 – Manufacture of tobacco products (60.5%). The largest decline in industrial production in January 2019 compared to January 2018, was recorded in division 07 – Mining of metal ores (65.0%) and division 13 – Manufacture of textiles (32.7%).
